If-

A truly inspiring poem by Rudyard Kipling titled “If”.

If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS-2

“It is a happiness to wonder; it is a happiness to dream.” – Edgar Allan poe

See good in everything, being happy does not mean you have become perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections. Positive thinking evokes more energy, more initiative and more happiness. The first ingredient to happiness is to avoid any kind of negativity related to past, present or future. To be happy, you must be your own sunshine. Happiness is a conscious choice. Happiness can even be found in the most darkest of times, It all depends on your outlook. Wake up every morning with a great desire to live joyfully. Never let the sadness of your past and fear of your future ruin your present. Live in the moment, live life to the fullest. Some pursue happiness others create it. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. Your mind is a garden, decorate it. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. Rejoice! 🙂

THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

“I have lost someone whom i loved as a brother, as a lover, as a closest friend, as a remarkable human being. We have also lost one of the best damn actor we will ever see.”- Jack Lemon

No one heals themselves by wounding another. No matter what at least once in your life someone will hurt you, rip you into pieces and wont even bother to watch where the pieces land. Through the breakdown you will learn more about yourself, more about life. No matter what you will grow from it and conquer yourself. When someone hurts you, think of them as a sand paper. They may scratch and hurt but in the end, you will end up polished. The pain you have been feeling can not be compared to the joy that is coming your way. Life is too short to fight or to regret the past. Count your blessings and move out with your head held high. Let it serve you as an opportunity to be better than what you were before. Do not ask yourself why someone keeps hurting you. Ask yourself why you are allowing them to do so? You will be able to rebuilt yourself. Time in itself is a best healer. People were created to be loved. Things were created to be used. The reason why the world is in chaos is because things are being loved and people are being used. It only takes a few seconds to hurt someone, but it takes years to repair the damage. Cherish the hearts that love you. You never lose by loving, you lose by holding back. Life is short, so make it worthwhile. Do not spend your time grieving, just spend it with a smile.

IT’S JUST A BAD DAY, NOT A BAD LIFE.

“I wanted to live deep and duck out all the narrow of life. To put to rout to all that was not life. And not when i had come to life, discover that i had not lived.”- Henry David

You must have experienced those days where nothing feels right. No matter what has happened something good will always come around the corner. Things are meant to change. Positivity is the key. Positive thoughts generate positive feelings and attract positive life experiences. Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an overwhelming breakthrough. Every second you spend upset is a minute of happiness you will never get back. Choose to shine even after all the storms you have been through. Learn from every wrong event or decision, see it as a opportunity to grow. It may have been a bad day but it sure not is a bad life.
